GOMEZ SURF
My passion for surfboard design began when I was 13. I was interested in how the different shapes and styles would ultimately perform in the water. So at 15 my boards started undergoing great transformations. This naturally progressed to a shaping career. However, I also love to travel, to surf challenging waves big or small, encountering different cultures and people. By combining the two, traveling the world and shaping i began working with many different shapers gathering a variety of techniques and consequently developed my own professional skills. I am constantly designing and testing new boards to better enhance the surfing experience. My designs range from performance shortboards through to classic longboards. Including fish, single fins, kneeboards and the odd unusual shape. My shapes are constantly evolving, testing and trying new and different ideas and materials to improve performance. I work and travel from different places at different times of the year always looking for somewhere new to discover.. I am a self-confessed perfectionist who strives to produce the best quality hand crafted board down to the finest detail. CONTACT: sergio@sgdboardsdesign.com
