4'8" eps carbon rails, the Nuggsy project.

The idea of Nugsy began after seeing my friend Brice surfing small Sydney beachies with the Mini Gomez. He was catching waves very easily and flying through all sections as most retro boards do, but it had something different, it was easy to turn tight in the pocket just like a shortboard without losing the flow of a retro board.
So i decided to try something smaller, lighter and more performance oriented. Nugsy has the outline of the Mini Gomez but is shaped from EPS with epoxy resin and carbon rails to reduce weight and  increase responsiveness. The final product is a board that acclerates with a gentle push at an incredible speed and allows you to pull off all the maneuvers you do on your shortboard. Nugsy is still been tested in different conditions and locations around Australia, however, seems to work best as a quad setup in 1-4ft surf.
